Fountain Safari with James Garland 

This was a truly special moment for my associate Todd and me when one of our oldest clients, James Garland, AIA, NCARB, HON ASLA — President, Founder, and Design Director of Fluidity Design Consultants — presented us with his newly published book, Fountain Safari.

The 9” x 12” volume spans 400 pages, showcasing a captivating collection of fountains and water features from around the world. Filled with engaging, descriptive text and stunning original photographs taken by Jim himself, the book represents twenty years of dedicated research and creative exploration.

James Garland is an architect with a thirty-five-year career specialization in water design. In 2002, he founded Fluidity Design Consultants, an international water feature design and engineering firm, based in Los Angeles, where he continues to work, today.
